John’s practice is litigation-based, with an emphasis on serving the forestry and motor transport industries. John has appeared in all levels of court in the province and before many administrative tribunals. He has also acted as counsel in mediations and arbitrations.
John has been practicing law in Kamloops since 1987. In 1994 he established his own law corporation, Drayton Law Firm, which is part of Gibraltar Law Group. John holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of British Columbia.
John follows a long tradition within his family. His great grandfather, William Savage, practiced law in Vancouver from 1906 to 1956. His grandmother, Helen Drayton, started practicing law in 1932, when it was quite uncommon for women to do that. John enjoys sailing and curling. He and his wife are the proud parents of three children.
Toni was called to the BC bar in 2017. As a partner with Gibraltar Law, she focuses her practice on Estate and Succession planning and Estate Administration. Toni assists her clients in preparing their wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements. In addition, she provides a mobile service “Wills on Wheels” to assist her clients having mobility issues.
Toni also assists her clients when it comes to probate or administration of estates of deceased persons, which includes applications for a grant of probate or a grant of administration.
Toni is excited to have the opportunity to build her practice in Kamloops, providing legal services to the Kamloops community. She obtained her Juris Doctor’s degree from Thompson Rivers University in 2015. Outside of work, Toni enjoys hiking, dancing, choir singing and swimming. Toni and her husband are proud parents of two sons.
Blake’s practice is litigation-based with a focus on employment law, estate litigation, collections, and corporate litigation.
Blake has appeared in the Supreme Courts, Small Claims Courts, and Traffic Courts of B.C. He first moved to Kamloops in 2008 to attend Thompson Rivers University. In 2009 Blake was the starting goalie for TRU Hockey’s Inaugural season. Blake spent multiple years working in the food service industry as a bartender and restaurant manager. Blake also has experience in various construction and trade jobs.
Blake returned to Thompson Rivers University in 2012 to complete his Juris Doctor in Law. In his second year at TRU Law Blake was the Internal Vice President of the TRU Society of Law Students.
Daniele practices in civil litigation with a focus on employment and human rights, debtor-creditor litigation, and estate litigation. She excels in communication, problem solving and working with her clients to achieve effective and efficient results.
Daniele was raised in Saskatchewan where she obtained her undergraduate degrees from the University of Saskatchewan in Psychology with a minor in Crime, Law and Justice, and Sociology. She then moved to Kamloops where she obtained her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University, was called to the bar, and has been developing a reputation in the legal community.
When Daniele’s not working you will find her outside. She enjoys hiking, camping, mountain biking, gardening, horseback riding, wake surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with her friends, family and her dog, Koda.
